Halifax Boat Show wrapped up on Sunday. Although I haven't seen the numbers as yet, it certainly appeared that attendance was up significantly. There seemed to be more of a positive attitude throughout the show. The dealers all talked positively, maybe some good signs for the future. It was great to have nice weather also. Typically we get some form of storm during the show, this year we got the snow teh day before the show, and it was nice weather through the rest of the weekend.
Up next is the Maine Fish Forum in Camden next week. We have exhibited there for a number of years and we have some really good dealers in the area that we support at that show.
The dates have been finalized for the 2010 version of our Dealer Show. It will be on October 7th and 8th at the World Trade Center in Halifax. I had posted previously that we may be trying a new venue, however after researching and looking around the WTCC will serve us best.

Update
Hi All,
The Halifax Boat Show is underway. We are hoping for strong attendance. The atmosphere seems to be a little more upbeat than in the previous show or two. Too early to gauge, but if the Toronto Show is any indication, than the show should be positive. Any comments on the show? Please write in. If you are going to be attending, please stop by.
Next show will be the Maine Fish Forum, in a couple of weeks. That is strictly a commercial show, and usually quite productive for us.
Sorry to hear about the fire at Schooner Cove Marine this morning. We wish you the best, as you work through that.

Hi All,
The Stright-MacKay sales team is getting ready for the Halifax Boat Show. It runs next week from the 18th through the 21st. Lee and Eric will be spending most of the time there, so please stop by Booth #2-E.
Hard to believe that spring is right around the corner, that means that the shipping department is busy getting the dealer spring orders out. Big Thank You to all the dealers that participated, we appreciate the business and will work hard to assist you with all your marine needs.
Preparations have begun for our Fall Dealer Show. We had thoughts of changing locations, spruce it up a little. What do you think? Send a note with your thoughts on changing to another venue.
If there is anything else that you would like to discuss, please send us a note we will do everything we can to address it.
